Residents of Copenhagen need to loosen up!

Can you believe that going to a spa is not a normal activity for them? Well, th...i...s is about to change. Perhaps with the increase in concern about staying green, and eating healthy and organic food has prompted this new surge in spa and wellness centers around the world – but Copenhagen has seen a particular flux.

The Hilton Copenhagen Airport hotel is updating their current plain spa for one that will incorporate treatments that aren't available anywhere in the Danish market. Besides being connected to the airport (hence the name), the spa will be one more thing to help take away stress from business travelers, or give a bit of extra pleasure to those on vacation. It will also be available for local residents not staying at the hotel.

The spa is called Ni'mat which means luxury in Thai – need I say more?

Well I'm going to anyway – the details are too good to not share. The main room has white ceilings, dark copper-coloured wood walls and the floor is mostly taken up by a salt-water pool –the kind whose water is so still that it connects to the level of the floor and looks as if you could just walk on it. The décor is obviously Asian inspired – unsurprising from its name.

At the edge of the pool against the wall is a Scandinavian apparatus called The Golden 'MySenzOri' Egg, which looks just like it sounds, except in life-sized form.

A door opens and you sit inside the egg and feel your troubles melt away as you receive a unique massage, light & sound therapy, aromatherapy....

Come and experience it yourself...Let your senses take over....
